Benefit Information and Claim Management - Secure Online Access

Great-West Life provides a secure, personalized online service for managing your Extended Health Care and Dental benefits: GroupNet for Plan Members.  GroupNet provides quick and easy access to the information you need most, such as:

  • Extended Health Care (including Vision Care) and Dental benefit summaries
  • Vision Care and Dental coverage balances
  • details of Extended Health Care (including Vision Care) and Dental claims for the past two years (includes claim status, eligible amounts, amounts paid)
  • blank claim forms
  • printable cards (e.g. temporary Prescription Drug Benefits card)
  • health and wellness information

To register on GroupNet, click here, and select "Register Now".  You will need your plan number - 55400 and your Member ID Number, which is the third of four sets of numbers found on the front of your Merit Prescription Drug Benefits card.  Enter those numbers where indicated, along with the requested Member Information and Dependent Information.

 

Expediting Extended Health Care and Dental Claim Payments

Once you have registered on GroupNet for Plan Members, you can set up online claim submission and direct deposit of claim payments to your bank account.  Utilization of these features will significantly decrease the amount of time before your claim payments are received.

After registering on GroupNet for Plan Members, be sure to enable eDetails and Direct Deposit, to ensure that Great-West Life will notify you when Extended Health and/or Dental claims are approved, and so that claim proceeds can be deposited into your bank account.
