Merit Contractors Association Benefit Plans

Since 1986, Merit Contractors Association has provided comprehensive benefits for employees of member companies through the Hour Bank and Office Supervisory Benefit Plans.  Included are employee and dependent life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, extended health care, vision care, dental care, disability benefits, an Employee and Family Assistance Program and Best Doctors® services.  In addition, several optional benefits are available to complement the program's core benefits.  The Hour Bank Benefit Plan provides benefits to hourly field and shop employees, while the Office Supervisory Benefit Plan provides benefits for all other eligible employees.

In 2010, Merit launched the Retiree Benefit Plan for retired members of the Hour Bank and Office Supervisory Benefit Plans.  The Retiree Benefit Plan provides extended health care coverage (including emergency medical travel benefits), Best Doctors® services and optional dental coverage.
